The Toronto Blue Jays kick off a nine-game road trip Friday in Baltimore as they open a weekend series with the Orioles at Camden Yards. Right-hander Dustin McGowan gets the nod for the visiting Blue Jays and will look to rebound from a rough first assignment against the New York Yankees last Friday. In that outing, McGowan was tagged for four runs on eight hits in 2 2/3 innings of a 7-3 loss. That start was McGowans first in almost three years after spending last season in the bullpen and the previous one recovering from surgery. The rust was evident, as he worked up too much of a sweat in the bullpen prior to the game and tipped his pitches a few times. "Hes better than that and hell get better than that," Blue Jays manager John Gibbons said. For Baltimore, right-hander Chris Tillman appears to have picked up right where he left off last year when he went 16-7 with a 3.71 ERA and earned his first All-Star nod. Tillman has allowed only one earned run in each of his first two starts and went 8 1/3 innings at Detroit in his last outing. His teammates are starting to look at Tillman as the true ace of the staff. "Hes definitely working his way up to that status," right fielder Nick Markakis said. "Hes learning how to pitch, hes learning how to attack the zone, hes got confidence on the mound. And when you got confidence and talent, it takes you a long way." Orioles third baseman Jonathan Schoop spoiled Masahiro Tanakas first home start for the Yankees with a three-run homer in the second inning on Wednesday as Baltimore went on to earn a 5-4 win and a series victory. The Os broke a 3-3 tie with two runs in the ninth off reliever Shawn Kelley. With an off day Thursday, they are hoping to get shortstop J.J. Hardy back into the lineup after missing five of the last six games with recurring back spasms. The plan was for Hardy to test out his back at the ballpark on Thursday and see how it responds. "Well see how it feels. Hopefully Ill be able to do everything and should be good to go," Hardy said. "I feel good about it." Toronto missed out on a series sweep over Houston on Thursday as it fell, 6-4. R.A. Dickey, who effectively switched spots with McGowan in the rotation, served up a pair of costly home runs after not allowing any in his first two starts. Last year, he gave up the second-most home runs in the majors. Dickey went on to yield five runs in seven innings against the Astros. Baltimore won last years season series with the Blue Jays by a slim 10-9 margin. Air Max Plus Pas Cher France . Gorges is believed to have suffered the injury while blocking a shot with a hand during Montreals win over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday. The Canadiens added to their defensive depth this week by acquiring veteran Mike Weaver from the Florida Panthers. Air Max 120 Pas Cher France . This is not some token job for a prominent, popular former player. All of those areas need a lot of work, so Molitor is going to be busy. "Hes certainly got a history and knowledge and a high baseball IQ," general manager Terry Ryan said. http://www.basketairmax90pascher.fr/air ... homme.html. Canadas Kaillie Humphries and Heather Moyse will reunite at this weekends season-opening World Cup at Canada Olympic Park as they begin their buildup to the Winter Games in Sochi. Air Max 90 Destockage .ca. Hi Kerry, Welcome back! Im sure you heard Peter Forsbergs comments last week regarding Canadian referees in the gold medal game. Seems to me that he was questioning the integrity and impartiality. Air Max Plus Pas Cher . - The New Orleans Saints have re-signed receiver Joseph Morgan for one year and have agreed to a four-year deal with free agent fullback Erik Lorig.(SportsNetwork.com) - The surging New York Rangers take aim at a fourth consecutive victory on Monday, as they host the Anaheim Ducks in an interconference battle at Madison Square Garden. Rangers captain Ryan Callahan is expected to return from a broken thumb for the home side. The Rangers went 3-6-0 on a season-opening nine game road trip, but things have been looking up for the Blueshirts since playing their home opener on Oct. 28 against Montreal. Although New York dropped a 2-0 decision to the Habs in that contest, the Rangers have since won three in a row and recorded their two most recent victories on home ice. New York hasnt won four in a row since a four-game winning streak from Feb. 28-March 7 of last season. After notching a 3-2 road win against the rival New York Islanders on Tuesday, the Blueshirts opened a four-game homestand with Thursdays 2-0 triumph against Buffalo. The Rangers then recorded their most lopsided win of the season Saturday against Carolina, scoring a season-high five goals in the 5-1 rout of the visiting Hurricanes. Derek Stepan broke out of a scoring drought by netting his first three goals of the season to lead the way in Saturdays blowout win over the Canes. Carl Hagelin added a pair of goals to support Stepans second career hat trick, while Henrik Lundqvist turned aside 27-of-28 shots in the victory. Chris Kreider and Mats Zuccarello each recorded three assists in the rout. "We didnt have the start we wanted but we battled back and (Lundqvist) kept us in the game," said Hagelin. "All the lines started going and we got our chances." Hagelin has two goals and one assist in three games since returning from offseason shoulder suurgery.dddddddddddd However, the Rangers are still playing without key forward Rick Nash (concussion). Meanwhile, Nash remains sidelined indefinitely with a head injury suffered in the third game of the season. The Ducks are capping their longest road trip of the season on Monday and have recorded a solid 4-2-1 record on the swing so far. Anaheim began the trek with consecutive regulation setbacks in Toronto and Montreal, but has righted itself with a 4-0-1 mark in the past five outings. Bruce Boudreaus club improved to 6-3-1 as the visiting team this season after Saturdays 6-3 decision in Buffalo. Corey Perry and Emerson Etem scored two goals apiece and Ryan Getzlaf added a goal and two assists to help the Ducks down the lowly Sabres. Sami Vatanen also scored for the Ducks and Jonas Hiller only needed to make 14 saves to earn the win. Down 1-0, Anaheim scored three consecutive goals before the end of the second period to make it 3-1. The Ducks pushed their edge to 5-1 in the early stages of the third period and cruised to the victory from there. "It took us about a period to get going. Its frustrating," said Getzlaf. "Obviously I am happy with our effort after that first period to get back into the hockey game. We had a will to win." After closing its lengthy trip on Monday, the Ducks will play their next three games on home ice, beginning with Wednesdays tilt against Phoenix. Anaheim is a perfect 5-0 as the host this season, including a 6-0 win over New York on Oct. 10. Hiller made 34 saves to lift the Ducks to their third victory in four games versus the Rangers. Anaheim, though, has lost its past three trips to Madison Square Garden. ' ' '
